Hosts must complete identity verification when creating a listing for a sublet. Both hosts and guest can complete ID verification on their profile.
During onboarding or listing creation, users are prompted to verify their identity.
Users upload a government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID).
Users take a live selfie to match their ID.
Stripe securely processes and verifies the information.
Once approved, users get the 'ID verified' badge on their profile.
